During my time at CSULB IBA, there was one guest speaker that spoke out to me the most. Najime Tousi, a senior analyst, spoke about multipotentialism. It felt like she was unlocking a hidden part of my own story. Her personal reflections drew me in, making the concept of embracing diverse interests and talents feel more like a liberating journey than an abstract idea.
The concept of multipotentialism fosters a mindset that embraces and celebrates a person's diverse talents, recognizing that possessing a multitude of passions is not a drawback but a strength. This perspective advocates for an all-encompassing approach to personal and professional growth, placing importance on adaptability, curiosity, and the distinctive insights acquired through exploration across different domains.
Eversince I heard about this word, I adopted it as one of my favorite word to identify with because of my hidden capabilities I continue to discover with growth mindset. I think those who are multipotentialites are passionate, humble and people full of grit due to their flexability to learn new skills and enjoy different skills in a life time.
